Great! It was my first time there. Jo (one of the owners) took the time to answer any questions I had regarding substitutions on food. I ordered the big breakfast but subbed regular pancakes for the apple fritter pancakes, which are a must. I ordered a purple haze latte. Little did I know, as she turned around and drew the little character you see on the cup in the photo, that I went to find a table. While I was seated, several servers and her brother Jackson (the other owner) came by to check and see if I needed anything. The restaurant is small, perfect for one or two people to come in and grab a quick bite. Their menu is pretty extensive for breakfast and lunch. You can find something for everyone. They also have coffees and smoothies, not to mention a drive-through for quick grab-and-go items. They had several bakery items such as flavored scones, cookies, and salted caramel bars. I definitely will be back.

I am always looking for great food spots in Portsmouth. I passed this spot and decided to look up their menu. I saw several items on their breakfast menu that I wanted to try. We went on a Sunday at 10am. It's a small dining area but there were a few open tables. You seat yourself and order at the counter. They have an extensive menu of coffee, drinks, and smoothies. I ordered hot jasmine tea, my friend ordered sweet tea. For food, I selected the mushroom and avocado bowl over grits and a side of pan fried potatoes. My friend ordered the buttermilk pancakes with bacon and a side of eggs. The food was fresh and delicious. I loved the fresh parmesian cheese over the potatoes. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The service was excellent. We'll definitely be back to try lunch.

Very friendly staff, amazing food with options for everyone, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and there’s plenty of seating options whether you’re meeting a friend or dining on your own. I noticed a pick up window as well that you can drive up to making a coffee and breakfast on the go that isn’t fast food easy! The parking lot was easily accessible in and out. I’d give it a 10/10 stars if that was an option. Cannot wait to go back :)

The employees were very pleasant and attentive to their customers. The Monte Cristo sandwich was excellent. The cinnamon toast with the ham, bacon, maple glaze and raspberry jam was a great combination. It was just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet. Perfect! The country omelet hit the spot. Seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend their breakfast.

I tried their mushroom, spinach book over grits with avocado, and a poached egg with a scone. Was craving something different , and they definitely delivered. Everything was absolutely delicious if you're a fan of the ingredients, which are my favorites. Hidden gem worth trying! Update 3/19/2024 Absolutely mouth watering for a person that loves veggie Omelets and Brie, very authentic touch , with a warm soul food feeling. Philly with Brie is absolutely amazing as well!! 11 months later , it still never ceases to amaze! If you like to try different things with a twist of greatness, definitely check them out!

This mom-and-pop Cafe is a one-of-a-kind. The menu is very unique and every item is made with quality food items period there is nothing pre-made except the desserts and you can see them through the glass case to pick the biggest one that you want. I've never been disappointed in any food item I've received. They used to have specials on certain nights and you could call ahead and have your meal prepared for you and pick up in the Drive-Thru but I'm not sure if they still do this or not. They are a great alternative to any fast food location because it's much better than the preservatives you'll get at any other fast food location. Wholesome food!

I’d like to consider this place a hidden gem. The food is amazing,cooked to order and the staff is very accommodating. I had an omelette and a latte before work and it was on point. The chef made my omelette with fresh eggs because of my sensitivity to dairy. Every time I stop in it’s well worth it!
